Primary Triad With Very Dark–We're Talking Nearly Black–Green, With Some Light Pink And Violet Thrown In For Good Measure
This color scheme was generated using an app that samples colors, seemingly at random, from a picture taken on a mobile device. This was from a snapshot I took in a bookstore that just happened to create a palette that included the primary triad. The work was executed using Golden acrylics and pigment dispersions from Guerra paint. The substrate is portrait grade linen, stretched over a wooden panel, primed with multiple layers of gesso, and then sanded smooth to remove any trace of the cloth weave.
